Choral Alumni Performing with Concert Choir
at the Calhoun HS Winter Concert.
The CCP boasts a rich alumni tradition. Members of the Choral Program have gone on to many music-related careers:
• Broadway Performers,
• Off-Broadway Performers,
• National Touring Company Performers,
• Disney Entertainment,
• Hersheypark Entertainment,
• Universal Studios Entertainment,
• Opera, Jazz and Pop/ Rock Musicians,
• Choral Directors/ Music Teachers
• Playwights and Theatre/ TV Producers
Each December, dozens of choral alumni from the past 50+ years return to Calhoun for the annual Winter Concert. At the end of Concert Choir's performance, the alumni are invited up onto the risers to perform Peter Lutkin's The Lord Bless You and Keep You with the current Choir. Following the concert, alumni, current members, and parents are invited to join us for refreshments in the cafeteria (our traditional "Nifty Shin-dig").
